Since beginning her portrayal of Bella Swan in the Twilight Saga, Kristen Stewart has become one of the most sought after and well known young actresses in Hollywood.

Kristen has lived and worked in California as an actor since a young age. Her first prominent role was in the film The Safety of Objectts (2001) as Sam Jennings. Following the release of The Safety of Objects, Kristen landed a role opposite Jodie Foster in the film Panic Room. In 2003, Kristen joined the star studded cast of Cold Creek Manor and a few years later gave a memorable performance in the 2007 film Into the Wild.

At only 18, Kristen was offered the starring role of Bella Swan in the Twilight film franchise. The film has since made both Kristen and her co-star Robert Pattinson international superstars. As her fame has grown, Kristen has worked to maintain her privacy and often shies away from the spotlight. When not working on the Twilight films, Kristen has starred in a number of independent films such as Adventureland (2009) and Welcome to the Rileys (2010).

Also in 2010, Kristen took on the controversial role of Joan Jett in the film The Runaways. In 2011, Kristen has signed on to star in the film On the Road, an adaptation of the novel by Jack Kerouac.

Throughout her still short career, Kristen has avoided flashy styles. Typically Kristen wears her hair long and brown with occasional highlights. For film roles such as The Runaways, Kristen dyed her hair black and cut it into a rock star mullet. Kristen does not need constantly changing hair or style to make a name for herself. By continually providing stellar performances, Kristen has a long career ahead of her.
