Born in Laguna Beach, California on February 1, 1986, Lauren Katherine Conrad is known for her work in reality television and for her work in the fashion industry.

During her senior year of high school, MTV scouts came to her high school in search of teens that were interested in appearing on a new reality television series entitled Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. The series was set to follow Lauren through her last year of high school and through her first year of college. The series continued following Lauren's life as she moved to Los Angeles and studied fashion. The series also documented Lauren's internship for clothing company Three Dots.

In 2005, a spin-off series entitled The Hills was created to continue following Lauren as she makes her way through the real world. In March of 2008, Lauren successfully launched her clothing line during L.A. Fashion week.

In 2009, Lauren took a break from clothing and also decided to end her time on The Hills. That same year, Lauren released her debut novel entitled L.A. Candy. The premise of Lauren's book was loosely based on her own personal adventures from Laguna Beach to L.A.

Lauren has epitomized the sunny California girl look. She typically wears her hair long and blonde, occasionally letting it fall wavy or straightening it with a hair straightener. Lauren likes to wear her hair in feminine twists or with headbands. Regardless of how she wears her hair, she always looks well put together and ready for anything.
