Hair Extension Consultations can make or break your extension wearing experience. So I find it very interesting that there is such a shortage of YouTube videos on the topic. I think we'll have to remedy that with an HEG original video very soon.
Until then, here's a video from Beauty Heaven about the consultation process that didn't make us cringe.
Now, keep in mind this salon only offers Great Lengths Hair Extensions. I'd be wary of a salon that only offers one type of hair extension system as there are almost as many out there as there are women. They're practically snow flakes these days.
A good salon should be able to show you at least three different systems of extension applications. And they should NEVER pressure you into hair extensions.
If you're interested in extensions, then definitely schedule a consultation with one of the hair extension salons in your area. Do a little research before your appointment, come ready with some questions about extensions and your hair, ALWAYS be honest with your stylist about what you want and what has been done to your hair, and ALWAYS trust your gut.
