Synthetic Rooster Feather Extensions Hit the Streets

And the rooster feather madness continues!!
Just when you thought you couldn’t get your feather fix someone finally figured out to make feather hair extensions out of heat resistant synthetic fiber.
I, as usual, was very skeptical at first of the synthetic version. I just got them into my salon and have been testing them out on friends and several good clients.
To my surprise they are quite cool. They are really a neat way to have feathers without, well, having feathers. You cannot beat the price either.
I was at a seminar with a good friend and client. We had 3 people stop us where Genevieve got her feathers… I was like, umm, well, they are not feathers. No one was the wiser.
Another great thing about the synthetic rooster feathers is that they are completely animal friendly. No roosters need to be plucked and killed for your fashion fix.
I love the way this trend has evolved. I see a lot more colored and funky hair extensions in our near future. I just wish I had thought of these synthetic rooster feathers myself.
