Fact 1 - Hair extensions are affordable.

Many people think that hair extensions are way out of their price range or that the average person can’t afford them. This is not necessarily true. Even human hair extensions are more affordable than you may think and synthetic ones are getting better and better all the time thanks to new technology.

Installing hair extensions used to take forever and this is where a lot of the cost lay – the time taken by the stylists to put them in. However improvements to the installing process now means that prices have been slashed as time costs are cut down.

Fact 2 – Hair extensions don’t ruin your natural hair

If you hair extensions are installed correctly in a salon that has good experience in extensions your natural hair will not suffer. Some of the upkeep is down to yourself however and it’s important that you follow maintenance instructions carefully. This includes brushing each day from the root down to avoid tangling and using the recommended hair extension products on your hair.

Fact 3 – Once you start with extensions you are not committed forever

This is another myth that stems from the ‘hair extensions damage your natural hair’ debate. Extensions can be removed and then added again later giving you the chance to get creative and have fun with you hair and try out different looks.

Fact 4 – Installing and taking out hair extensions doesn’t hurt

There is no pain involved with putting in or taking out hair extensions. Brands such as Balmain, Easilengths and Klix are installed quickly and easily. Extensions won’t feel heavy or tug at your natural hair and you will be able to sleep fine with them in.

They are an affordable way to create a new look for yourself giving you a choice of added length, color, volume or anything else you can think of.
